AIDS Project of the East Bay (APEB) is a community based organization, dedicated to preventing the spread of HIV and supporting individuals infected with the virus through programs targeted at some of the most vulnerable and marginalized individuals.

California Health Advocates administers HICAP (the Health Insurance Counseling & Advocacy Program) program that can help you understand your specific rights and health care options. HICAP also offers free educational presentations to groups of Medicare beneficiaries, their families and/or providers on a variety of Medicare and other health insurance related topics.
