TVM is More Thanan After School Program

Tiger Academy is the 21st Century Learning Center Community (CCLC) Out of School Time Program for the Hollister (MO) School District focusing on College and Career Readiness in Grades K-12. Upon adding our High School Site nearly two years ago, ScholarPrep Nation was the perfect resource to compliment our mission of preparing students for the next steps beyond high school graduation. We have used ScholarPrep Nation as one of our before school offerings during our Mornings Matter program to help guide students to initiate and continue the portfolio building process. We feel that ScholarPrep Nation is THE resource that can fully compliment what students do with the guidance program during the regular school day as well as what Tiger Academy offers before and after school.

Strafford High has offered the ScholarPrep Nation books for the past three years to our high school students. The books are very helpful in tracking information from year to year, and the format is easy for the students to follow. Students have commented how it makes it easy for them to keep it organized and all in one place. Each section is very useful for understanding the necessary documents and activities needed for a well-rounded and competitive high school resume.

However, we see the benefits beyond the basics, it's a wonderful way to teach and enhance organizational skills, provide a constant review yearly of what a student has achieved, will need to continue gathering and the convenience of everything available in an organizer vs the shoe box we used for our own years ago.
